01 / From identity to environment
Physical brand identity is the way a brand appears in a store: its storefront, signs, type, materials, fixtures and product displays. For Brooklyn Industries, our work included the wordmark and typography as well as the design and build of its Williamsburg flagship.

02 / Inside the design process
For Brooklyn Industries, we developed the identity and the flagship. For Kallu, the product itself informs the proposed interior. Here are the design decisions behind both projects.
Brooklyn Industries / Identity into environment
The Brooklyn Industries identity work connects the wordmark, typography and LIVE WORK CREATE language. The store then carries that direction into graphics, fixtures and product presentation.
Franklin Narrow Bold typography and the LIVE WORK CREATE language appear in the original identity work below. The renewed identity extends to the Williamsburg flagship and Jersey Gardens outlet.

Kallu Shoes / Proposed Las Vegas flagship
The Kallu study takes cues from the curve of a shoe sole, translating them into arches, portals and fixtures. Warm mineral tones and lighting keep attention on the footwear.

Neutral finishes and spaced displays let individual shoes stand out.
Seating sits alongside the displays, with stock storage and staff routes considered in the floor plan.
